Funnel cash to players. The recruits will now want to know how much they’ll get paid. I’m guessing this is not favorable for non P5 schools. BYU will end up not being able to compete for any high profile recruits. BYU would essentially have to work with big boosters to know how much a recruit might make. Big P5 schools will have specific answers and numbers and BYU probably won’t have any with the way the church wants it run.

Not to doomsday, but this could be the end of BYU sports too if the church doesn’t want to engage in this.
