Lots of scenarios that could be abused, but at least we're abandoning the fiction
we've been laboring under for the last several decades of the "student-athlete". NCAA football and basketball are huge moneymaking businesses that are also farm systems for the NFL and NBA. So let's at least call them what they are and then work to deal with the fallout. "Student-athlete" had been a lie for a long, long time.
