They are basically a P5 school in terms of attendance and fan support, but they haven't been able to capitalize on it because P5 conferences don't want to deal with BYU's religious issues. Players at BYU will make more off their image than players at Utah, Oregon State, Arizona State, Cal, Stanford, pretty much all P12 schools but USC, UCLA, Oregon, and maybe UW. The big schools will still be on top after this ruling, and the small schools will still be at the bottom, but a school like BYU will move up the ladder in recruiting.
