The funny thing is a team can't hold out a player until they take less money? Once they agree they are on the hook no matter the performance. Yes, they can cut them but the money they are on the hook for they are against the cap. So in many situations it still hurts them in the long run.

Players like Ramsey are the ones that are the most frustrating IMHO.
