They typically use the metric .500 or better because that eliminates
the loss to the team you're ranking. That makes almost all of Utah's wins decent.
Outside of their Utah loss, BYU, WSU, Cal and Oregon State are 4-3. Above .500.
Oregon and Utah need each other to win out to leverage a top 7/8 win. They should root for LSU to win, Clemson to lose somehow...and Baylor to lose to someone else besides Oklahoma.
