Frankly, it doesn't matter to me. If you grad from HS, you can get into UU undergrad, the same can't be said of the other. Also, last I looked, I don't think there are any religious schools that are in the AAU, not even Notre Dame. Other schools not in... University of Notre Dame, Rockefeller University, UC-San Francisco, Alabama-Birming, Illinois-Chicago, George Washington University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Connecticut, SUNY-Albany, Miami, Vtech,etc...

Their mission clearly states that it is based on the research activity of the Univ.
