understand UCLA. Honestly the last time they had any consistency of winning records was in the late 80s yet they recruit in the top 30 about 70% of the time. Even BYU has more recent and consistent history of putting together winning season streaks than UCLA. Out of the schools that have top resources and recruits UCLA has got to be near the bottom. Notre Dame and Tennessee for example show much more consistency than UCLA does though Virginia could be a challenger. At UCLA it looks like you basically wade through bunches of terrible seasons to come up with a really good season but never a great one. It would surprise me if these athletes are consistently choosing UCLA because of the academic programs.
