I think a big part why BYU beat Boise and USU is because there was fire put on
Kalani after the USF loss. I am not sure if we had beaten both Toledo and USF that we would have beaten Boise State and Utah State and be at 6-2.
That is an odd perspective to have, but I really think those two losses were a wakeup call to the staff and team.
Now, can BYU continue with this "our jobs are on the line EVERY game" mentality for the rest of the year remains to be seen? I hope so.
