Admittedly Poeltl definitely had the athleticism I just didn't think he had the toughness and skill. The PAC 12 play that year was a poor indicator of his success because there were very few good Bigs in that league. Domantas Sabonis on the other hand was raised by one of the greatest basketball bigs of all time and was literally practicing against him since as long as he can remember. I figured at the least Sabonis would be a potent rotation player.
