KSL's "Movie Show" talking very highly about "Midway," seeming more positive than the RottenTomatoes score of 38%. Doug
Wright said everything "Pearl Harbor" got wrong, "Midway" gets right. Saying that they like how this focuses on history and not love story, and it starts well before "Midway" to show background and even the attack on Pearl Harbor, and saying they like how the Doolittle raid was portrayed much better here.

They compact everything from pre-war right up to the battle itself very effectively, in Doug's words. He gives it 3.5 stars. Steve also liked it, says it got rid of all the fluff from Pearl Harbor and focuses just on this is what happened and how it happened. Also was very respectful to the Japanese and their perspective. Steve gives it a B. Doug saying he really thought this movie "hit it," and while not a 4 star movie, he loved it. It's 138 minutes, but moves along very briskly.

Wow, I'm surprised to hear how positive these guys are about it given that I've been hearing predominantly negative things about it. They did say some of the dialogue scenes felt a little wooden, but not much else negative about it.
