In the late 80s we'd do our scout camp at Fremont Lake. We would combine with
another ward in our stake and it would just be us at the far end of the lake for those five days. We'd never see anyone else pass through during that time. It felt like real wilderness. We'd work some on merit badges, but for a lot of the time we'd just be running around the woods, canoeing, fishing, etc... Definitely one of my best memories from scouting.
