It looks like about a 2 hour drive from campus difference
It should matter with as awful as UMass is this year (I can't imagine them having very many fans showing up at either location) but moving it to Amherst is a definite favor to UMass.
I'd guess they probably lost money on the stadium rental playing in Foxboro last year.
Hopefully UMass will return the favor and allow the game to be broadcast on BYUtv.
