We were a not great team of eighth graders that got shoved into a hole in a round robin tournament against ninth grade teams, and one of them absolutely pounded us. I was playing center, and would have been the shortest guy on the other team. I prided myself on my rebounding, and think I got two the entire game, along with one free throw, and about eleven turnovers. It was kind of embarassing.

But you know what, our coach accepted the game, and we went in and played our best, which wasn't competitive. Even in eighth grade, I just kind of laughed it off and went on to the next game, where I think we fought to a competitive 48-21 loss. 😉

Haven't you ever been stomped at a game or a race or something, just absolutely blown out? It's not that big of a deal, really.
