I am more convinced that the concussion protocol is not a great barometer of a concussed player’s readiness to return to the field/susceptibility to more concussions. I just don’t think we understand brain injuries well enough.

Concussions are scary/tricky and I would hate to be the doctor in charge of clearing a player to go back to full contact.
