ChiCityCoug Walk-on
Went to the game this weekend and it has been a long time since I have been

to LES. I have gone to a couple of games the last few years here in the midwest but haven't been able to make it out to Provo in awhile.

My take on the stadium and the atmosphere:

- The new walkway area between the sections is awesome. It is a huge improvement to the stadium. I didn't think it would be a big deal, but it was nicer than I expected.

- I have seen a couple of complaints about the music, vibe, and atmosphere in the stadium here on CB (probably vocal minority). I actually thought they did a really good job. The music was much better than when I was a studnet here and the entertainment/energy during the timeouts was a lot better as well. The fourth quarter drumb was pretty cool, overall I felt like it was well organized and the energy was kept high. (I know it was liberty and I am sure there would have been more energy against BSU).

- Shared a cougar tail with my wife and 1 yr old daughter. It was my daughter's second BYU game (1st was at Toledo :() and 1st game in LES. I remember going to games with my dad each year even though we lived in Chicago. It was fun to see her clap and smile along even though she was just doing it because mommy and daddy were. Hopefully the first of many games with her.

- I have seen some mocking of the cougar tails here on CB as well. Not sure why the hate, it tasted great to me.

Overall I felt the game day experience was awesome. I had forgotten to download the app prior to arriving but my sister who is a current student showed me hers. It is a pretty cool app. Well done by BYU.

I'll probably write up a post later on how the actual game went. (I know you will all be waiting on pins and needles for that)
