If LDS can call themselves christian, then they will always be linked with other christians. Saying they believe in a different God let’s them say we are not christian.

I had a friend who was adamant about this idea...I told him it’s like 1 person claiming Michael Jordan was an incredible basketball player and another saying no, he was a crappy minor league baseball player. Both are right and both are talking about the same person, just have different information/perspective. He didn’t really buy it though, haha
