I attended ISU in the early 1960's (it was ISC then) and both football & basketball were pretty good. I remember one
game where ISC (against a Montana school) was ahead so far they punted on 3rd downs just to avoid scoring and to give the ball to the other team.
For many years prior to the early 1960's the football coach was a well known name and latter became the AD. I can't remember the name but it will come to me about 3:00 AM some morning.
