No one has ever said BYU didn’t try to be the best they could be. Just that our schedule didn’t match up
even close to the schedules of the other guys in the mix. Our schedule really was awful. I totally get the argument against us. I’m glad it was a different time back then and that we were able to win it. Never would have happened in the BCS era or today.
