experience. Instead of enhancing scenes, it definitely distracted. The attack on Pearl Harbor was especially cartoonish, particularly a lot of the fire.
I still enjoyed the movie overall, but it definitely was far from a masterpiece. The CGI was probably my biggest complaint. I thought none of the characters were particularly well developed and they were all very wooden, but given the pace it's to be expected. It was nice how it covered a lot, but that came at the expense of going beyond a superficial depth on anything or anyone.
