The upperclassmen haven't been good, haven't fit the system or have gotten injured.

Interesting note in BYU's game notes for ISU: Cougars have started 13 freshmen this season, tied with Purdue for most among FBS schools. BYU has played 27 freshmen, tied for No. 12 nationally. Young team.
