BYU rarely has a deep threat. The fastest guy was a receiver ages ago named
Lloyd. He played with Matt Braga and Danny Plater and was always the last option because he didn't have great hands. BYU wins because they run great routes and hands and the plays are designed to put receivers in the seams so DBs have to make choices as to which receiver to cover. Even Matt Bellini was a possession receiver, even though he had good speed. We no longer run that offense. I watched the LSU v. Alabama game and basically saw our offense. We will NEVER be able to run that offense because we will NEVER have that kind of athletic ability or speed. We need an offense built for our talent not an offense built on what the coordinator knows.
