They were likely trying to let the bugs, etc... do their work so they could have a cool skull and antlers mount for their living room, but it still gave me the heebie-jeebies. Saw it another time but with a boars head that someone had hung on a tree branch in their long driveway. The flesh was mostly rotted and falling off and it looked absolutely demonic, like something out of a horror movie. We didn't even knock on the door due to being freaked out by the whole scene.
