Ute fans here (and in the real world) usually deny that harrassment ever happens
A BYU fan will relate an experience being harassed by a Utah fan and, like clockwork, a chorus of Ute defenders will chime in with the same defenses:
"Totally made up, I've been a Utah fan for 75 years and never seen any Ute be anything but a perfect gentleman"
"Typical zoob, making up stories so you can feel holier than thou"
"You have a persecution complex"

And then when it happens publicly and can't be denied, it suddenly flips to: "Why do you guys focus on this so much? Geez calm down, get a life."

It's a remarkable strategy, really. Totally deny it happens, and then when it can be denied no longer, blame the victims.

I mean, every fan base has its jerks, but you guys really take it to the next level. Then you pretend that its everyone else's fault.
