Car guys, what’s your opinion on the Subaru Tribeca?

Duke Silver All-American

Looking to spend about $10k or less on a small/mid-sized SUV. I hear Subaru’s don’t hold their value all that great and that it’s risky buying one over about 80k miles or so. Would it be a mistake? Should I just stick to Toyota/Honda?

Horrible gas mileage, good AWD system, likely underpowered (but I haven't driven one).

Subarus have excellent resale value generally...definitely in utah

It's the state vehicle of Colorado. They barely lose a dollar over a decade.

Tribeca is one of very few misses by Subaru. We've owned several Subarus but never a Tribeca. Not sure what

My mom had 2009. Gas mileage super low. Subaru mechanic advised her to sell it
