If you asked the legislative majority of this state they would say the advantages is it let’s them exert as much control over it as they choose to exert. They consider it their advantage to control the flow of alcohol in this state plus make revenue off of it by marking it up and collecting and keeping the profits for the state coffers.

If you ask people that drink, or even people like me that don’t drink but think that people that want to drink should be free to do so with minimal government oversight, then there is no advantage just impediments.
