Verlander had a nice season but it wasn't as good as Gerrit Cole (especially when you factor in his blowing 2 games in the WS).

Shouldn’t factor those WS games in at all. Still should have been Cole.

It was close and the ballots were even closer. Cole was historic though. Sad for him.
