Rubber worms, not flies. Normally 7" ribbontails, but occasionally 10"
ribbontails. If you know how to work a rubber worm, you can catch bass all year long, even ice fishing.

95% of the time the preferred rig is a 3/8 oz brass bullet weight and a 1/0 Tru Turn hook with the rubber worm using a Texas weedless setup. If you're using a 10" ribbontail, I move up to a 2/0 hook.

1 two-pound largemouth bass = 5-6 trout. You only need to catch a handful of nice bass to make a family meal.
