What ship has sailed? It’s easy to put Utah highly ranked now.
But these rankings are fluid and when push comes to shove, do you honestly see Utah getting in over a 1 loss Oklahoma or Bama? The playoff committee has already shown they’ll put in blue bloods who don’t even win their conference, like Ohio State three years ago. You’re being willfully ignorant of their precedent.
Not to mention, Utah will have to beat Oregon even more convincingly than Auburn did, cause Auburn is a middle of the pack SEC team. Utah will cap out at 5 unless all the other champions have 2+ losses.
