all year long, they view the BYU game no different than like Colorado St or Utah St. We really need to look at the reality of how we are perceived from the outside. When we are playing Liberty and Idaho St, it's obviously an attractive game for us, but it doesn't really move the needle for Notre Dame to be playing BYU during Championship weekend. It waters down their brand. That's just reality. playing them earlier makes sense but no way is Notre Dame going to do an annual BYU game during championship weekend.
