I just changed my location on my PC and it was really easy.
I have windows 10. I didn't have to download an app or anything. I just changed my default location in maps to Boston and then went and changed my youtubetv area.

I’ve never had any success with a VPN and YouTube Tv. I think you’d have to also change your home location in the settin
