I just think Kalani is opening doors.
I went to my son’s baseball game. There at the park, in Las Vegas was a BIG, very athletic looking, Polynesian guy. Sporting multiple tattoos and a royal blue shirt with a big bold Y on it.
I just couldn’t help thinking it was BECAUSE Kalani has been doing such a good job recruiting communities that were not as targeted under Bronco.
I think Kalani is bringing in some athletes. He has won some big games. He needs some discipline and he needs more wins. But I think he is personally a good representative for what BYU is about and I believe he is improving as a coach and as a recruiter. So I say... as long as I can point to improvement I’m fine keeping him on.
