Here’s a graph of common streaming provider’s price increases since 2015
Made after Hulu announced a second price increase in 2019 alone. DirecTV Now/AT&T TV Now also increased prices twice in 2019.
The Sling price isn’t really fair either because they have two packages. To get similar content to the other services, you really have to have both Sling packages, if I understand it correctly.

I believe Sling is ~ $40 when you pay for both... YTTV’s interface is 10x better though, worth an extra $10, and it has

Yeah I would expect that to be the case. They have to introduce teaser rates to get people to switch
