His job is to do what’s best for his players. Not himself.
If he feels they’d benefit from another year, even if they’d make it this year, he should tell them so. If he thinks they’d go 2-3 round and have no chance of moving up he should help them achieve their best and send them off.
It’s about the players at that point. Not the program. NFL talent is NFL talent regardless of scheme.
