I know this is bigute's schtick but this narrative of his is very tiresome. BYU played 3 of the top 4 teams in the whole Pac12. The only team that is any good that we didn't play is Oregon. That is the only reason that we talked about difficulty of schedule was because of the specific teams we faced, all 3 have been in the top echelon of the pac 12 for years. The Pac12 sucks, everyone in the country knows this. Utah and Oregon were fortunate to rise through the ranks by beating up on terrible teams. Best victories Utah has are 6-4 BYU and 6-4 Washington with a terrible loss to 7-4 USC. Meanwhile Oregon beat Washington and USC and lost to the only legitimate team on their schedule Auburn, the 6th best team in the SEC. That's right a middle of the road SEC team is better than the best team in the PAC and more deserving of a playoff bid. Your conference is a joke in football. If BYU's schedule included Arizona, Colorado, Washington State, UCLA, Oregon State or heck even Stanford this year no one would have been talking about how difficult our schedule is and we'd have cruised through that schedule with a winning record. So drop the schtick because it's #fakenews.
