Suddenly we'd have a winning record in the PAC-12. Sorry, we are not a good team and the Sitake extension befuddles me completely.
But this seems to happen each year in independence. We get trounced early on and have a massive meltdown and then somehow gain confidence from playing nobodies at the end of the year. We forget that we are only a couple of end game heroics from having a losing record.
Also, it doesn't make me feel any better to try to pretend Utah is bad. The PAC-12 may not be great this year but since the USC loss they have absolutely trounced everyone. They certainly pass the eye test.
