Being in a conference somewhat gives you an excuse for playing a weak schedule..."Hey we can only play the other schools in the conference" (with of course a decent OOC game or two).

But in Indy, if we scheduled a MWC Conference type schedule, we are most likely penalized because we have a lot more control.

Winning is the key and we are not a school that can compete with the upper 50% of the G5 programs consistently.
