Ok. It happens to me all of the time, and I hardly notice it except for I have a co-worker who is the same way. Every
other sentence has 5-7 second pause right in the middle of it. No hemming or hawing, for both of us it's just like the brain shifted to neutral temporarily. People hate when I tell stories. And there's lots of awkwardness when I speak publically haha.
