It’s definitely weird, but I’d argue that — for better or for worse — it has a
a more iconic look than any car they’ve made yet.
When the Model S first came out, it looked like a wannabe Jaguar sedan, and the Model 3 could have a Mazda logo on it and fit right into their lineup. The old roadster was basically a Lotus design.
This is definitely a bolder aesthetic choice, which may prove to be a bit too retro-space-age-looking for most.
