Utah doesn't have the luxury of playing Utah, BYU does.
Utah's best opponents so far have been USC and UW, and BYU played both of them. BYU also got to play BSU and Tennessee.
It's actually not close when you think of it. BYU's top end was much better than Utah's and who cares about the bottom end.
Utah's one saving grace is CCG against Oregon which is very comparable with Utah.
