The thing is that they can sign their kids up for the peace corps for two years.
It has the same deferment. It is just sour grapes.
If a reporter would ever say. “Wow coach, that is horrible. Are you going to start enlisting your freshmen in the peace corps and sending them off so you can take advantage of that maturity?” It would call out the BS
