Much and got a Pitt Boss. Now that he’s seen mine he tells everyone to get a Pitt Boss. If you don’t need the Wifi features and that stuff it’s great.

Get a weber kettle instead. A cheap smoker from a big box will have bad heat

Masterbuilt vertical propane fueled smoker is pretty simple, they are cheap too.

Weber Kettle. Snake method or two zone setup.and replenish the coals. You can smoke anything you want with that

You could probably pick up a used Traeger online. I really like the pellet grill
