BYU doesn't have a quick fix option - unless you loosen the self-imposed restrictions, you have to be patient - BYU cannot hire an established, proven head coach, as there aren't any out there who meet all of BYU's requirements, and who are also available or willing to come.

If you lose patience too quickly, you're just going to get rid of a developing HC (and staff) for another HC (and staff) who is going to take time to develop, and with whom you are again quickly going to lose patience for.

The BOT and administration has built this bed, and we now have to lie in it. Patience is the only realistic option now.
