something. I guess every single one before we lost our first game in a season but after that we don’t play any truly meaningful games. We absolutely have some cool games on the schedule but win or lose they don’t really matter after our first loss. Does Utah-Oregon matter this week? LSU-Georgia? P5 yeah I know, of course they do. What about Cincy vs Memphis?? Absolutely and if Cincy were to win that game then Boise vs Hawaii matters. We don’t get that in Indy and never will. Can we go undefeated with these schedules? Not recruiting in the 60’s and 70’s we can’t. No way. 11-1 sure once in 20 years and we’d have to fight the AAC champ or Boise to get in. 10-2 four or five in twenty years?? Maybe but what does that get us?? Yep a trip the bowl that doesn’t have the P5 tie in.

The moment we lost to Utah this year our the games were for fun...none of the rest of them opened OR closed any doors for us. We were going to Hawaii with our 6th win or our 10th win.

I know how CB feels about the MWC and the AAC. I know how we feel about $ and the BOT’s commitment to the program but the only thing I want as a fan is to watch my team play in meaningful games like every fan who’s team is playing this weekend. Those games are why we fan!!
