It was my kid who got the scholarship. I was not such a great student.
In addition to better grades than me, the kid got a 1600 on the SAT.
Although I did attend 1 semester at BYU on a half-scholarship of some kind. Ironically, the hardest class I ever took was one I took at UVU (UVSC at the time), not anything I took at the two universities in question.
