Welp. There goes my emotional investment
Byu sports. (Pretty much only football and basketball) has, for as long as I can remember, had a rather extreme influence on my mood.
Always took me a day or two to get over tough losses. They've always had the power to make me happy or really piss me off. Genuinely, effect me to my core.
That's gone now. I did not just watch that game in disbelief. I wasn't surprised in the least. I wasn't upset at all. I just sort of watched as I shook my head.
No yelling, screaming, swearing, or name calling as would have been the norm in the past.
I will still watch every game I can. But... I guess I've lost my passion. I just dont care that much anymore.
Maybe it's some sort of subconscious self preservation.?
It sucks. I've always sort of enjoyed being known as an over the top byu sports fan.
