I’ve spent pretty significant amounts of time attempting to be a male role model for adolescents. I’m sure I failed a good amount of those times, nonetheless. It’s times like this when you help them understand part of growing up is facing hard things. It becomes a lot more difficult to help them when a young boy starts to engage in avoidance.
