We do a lot of hand off passes “weave” when guys are tightly guarded. I actually like those movements with the right personnel and depending on how BYU is guarded. Sometimes we bring guys like Lee to the perimeter to catch passes. You are asking for turnovers in those scenarios. Use a PNR of some sort instead of just passing to pass on the perimeter.

Utah has a really bad defense. At one point we had Yoeli and Lee passing to each other beyond the 3 point line. It was ugly.

I would much rather see us use legitimate PNRs more than the fake euro version of the PNR. Or at least 50/50.

Defensively we need to figure out the switching mess that we observed yesterday. Aside from refs — our switching was atrocious. Yoeli still is a bit slow to react on D, Toolson is not a good defender, Haws was on his own planet, etc.

I think this is a decent team—but plenty to clean up.
