In both cases it seems pretty clear that BYU is generally a better team, but the right storm of mistakes allowed Utah to win. Both went into OT, in both I felt very strongly that poor officiating tipped the game in Utah's favor, key players for BYU got into foul trouble, and BYU should have been able to win regardless, but just had one too many mistakes. In the Women's game they have two fouls to give and Utah had the ball with 5 seconds left or something down one. BYU didn't take advantage of those fouls and Utah tied the game after BYU fouled(questionable call) on a layup. Our desperation heave at the buzzer nearly went in and should have been a foul on Utah. Brenna shot the ball with one hand because her other hand/arm was being held.

Anyways, watching both of the games in the matter of the few days has me pretty annoyed. Because I hate losing to Utah, and because in both cases I think BYU is the better team. If they played again tomorrow I wouldn't hesitate to pick BYU to win.
