In which they were down for more than 3/4 of the time?
Listen, we talk about living “right” on and off the field (court, classroom, church etc.) that means: NO throwing pepper regardless of the situation!
The coach is a dad to the player that our guy decided to “throw pepper” at...aimed at the DAD! We sit here and cheer Wilson’s mom for going to bat for him against Ute fans and tip our hats to Stevenson’s dad who fought a Ute fan in the stands after a football game... why wouldn’t Jones do the same for his kid? Why do feel like we can say we are superior yet act the same way “they” do?
If our guy doesn’t say anything, and Jones goes off because he is a dirty Ute fan-like we believe them to be, then we have every right to sit on this board and say “look at the evidence” but toolson messed up. What he did isn’t unforgivable, but a teaching moment for all of us to try harder to adhere to the standards that sets us apart.
