that they were both ridiculous. It seems weird to argue for either side on this one. Toolson is a child for approaching another bench to have words and Chris Jones is pathetic for being a grown man goaded to verbal anger by some college kid. Everybody involved needs to grow up.
Sounds like these two needed to be raised with my experience. Where I grew up you literally had to back your words with blows. Talking angry smack was virtually guaranteed to draw blood so whatever you were gonna say had better be worth it and you better hope you're the bigger dude or else you are going to regret it right away. Probably one of the best things I could ever be around regarding sports because if I'm mad or if the other guy talks down to me I've just always channeled it into my game to further bug the crybaby.
Its never ceased to astound me when I played BYU intramural or church ball that long, skinny 170 lb white boys and overweight 45 year olds think it is ok to run their mouths because its sports and that they can do so without consequence. Toolson and Jones obviously never got, but sure needed to be punched in the face when they ran their mouths playing in youth leagues at age 10. Honestly, maybe violence is the answer sometimes.
